An historic faith covenant was signed on 28 January at the Focolare Centre for Unity in Welwyn Garden City. The document, signed by local Faith leaders and the Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield, Councillor Frank Marsh, committed the signatories to work together as partners for the common good.

Recently, a small group from the Focolare Centre in Rome, including the Co-President Jesús Morán, visited various countries in Africa, where the Focolare is present and active. This small group visited Focolare communities in the Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Burundi and Rwanda.
