Easter 2025: This is a wonderful coincidence that calls all Christians to take a decisive step toward unity—a call to rediscover ourselves as united in plurality.
Jubilee: Young peopple, families and holiness
In view of the Jubilees for young people and families, children, grandparents and the elderly, the Focolare Movement is offering several itineraries in Rome, in other Italian cities and at its International Center in Rocca di Papa (Rome) in order to provide opportunities to get to know more about the spirituality of unity and to meet some witnesses of hope.
Igino Giordani and the relevance of his message of peace

Summary concerning Safeguarding 2024: an integral conversion
“Your work cannot be reduced to protocols to be applied, since it advocates for safeguarding through a formation that educates, measures that prevent, and listening that restores dignity. When you establish prevention policies, even in the remotest communities, you are making a promise: that every child, every vulnerable person, will find a safe environment in the ecclesial community. This is the driving force of what should be for us an integral conversion.”[1]
Ecumenical Conference: with Hope and Courage
From 26th-29th March 2025, the “Called to hope – Key players of dialogue” ecumenical conference, promoted by the Focolare Movement, took place in the Mariapolis Centre in Castel Gandolfo (Italy).
Synodal Communication in the Jubilee of Hope
The synodal journey of a group of communication professionals, on the initiative of NetOne, the international network of communicators of the Focolare Movement: monthly online meetings to explore themes and share experiences.In February 2025, the second international webinar was held to promote genuine, responsible communication practices, listening to everyone and taking concrete actions to build communities.
Don Enrico Pepe: A life spent for Unity and the Church
On 2nd March, Father Enrico Pepe, a Focolare priest of the diocese of Teramo-Atri (Italy), concluded his earthly journey. Sent in the 1960s as a missionary to Northeast of Brazil, he formed hundreds of Brazilian priests and seminarians in the spirituality of unity at a time when the clergy was facing a severe crisis. For 25 years he then served as the international coordinator of the Focolare’s Movement for Priests.
