60th anniversary of the Focolare Movement in Asia and Oceania
In 1966, Chiara Lubich assigned the first group of focolarini and focolarine to the Philippines. This marked the beginning of the spread of the spirituality of unity across many Asian countries and in Oceania
Living the Gospel: from seed to fruit
The Word of God is like a seed which bears fruit when received with an open heart and perseverance and when with it, we manage to overcome difficulties. Jesus invites us not only to listen to it and understand it, but above all to live it concretely every day. By living His Word, we allow Christ to transform the way we think and act, making our lives and the lives of others, fruitful.

Embracing wisdom
If we are attentive to the world around us, we realise that it is often the clamour of different views and opinions that prevails. Everyone wants to have their say and there is a proliferation of forums for debate in which it seems as though everyone knows everything....
The seed falling on good soil refers to the person who hears the Word and understands it: this person bears fruit and yields plentifully. (Mt. 13:23)

From Caracas (Venezuela): solidarity becomes tangible
Several days have passed since the earthquakes in Venezuela that caused the collapse of 770 buildings. At the moment the official figures report more than 1,400 victims, thousands injured and it is estimated that the number of missing persons may reach 50,000. Rescue teams have arrived from many countries and are racing against time to find survivors beneath the rubble. Here follows the news received from the Focolare communities in Caracas which have mobilized to meet the multiple needs arising from this tragedy while a network of solidarity network has sprung into action.
Chiara Lubich: Unity
Unity, as the fulfilment of Jesus’ words ‘Father, may they all be one’ (Jn 17:21), is one of the key points of the Focolare Movement’s spirituality. But how can we achieve unity, how can we receive the grace of unity? Chiara Lubich spoke about this on the 26th of September 1996 in her message during a ‘Link-up’. We are presenting an extract from that message here.

Unity: A Priority for Maria Voce (Emmaus)
On 20 June 2026, we mark the first anniversary of the passing of Maria Voce (Emmaus), the first President of the Focolare Movement (2008–2021) after Chiara Lubich. As we remember her, we asked ourselves: how did Emmaus live out unity in everyday life? The focolarine who lived with her during her final years recount a number of small episodes—little “acts of love” if you will —that reveal how mutual love, lived faithfully in every circumstance, lays the foundations for receiving unity as a gift from God.
