Poland: Focolare welcomes refugees from Ukraine
It has now been 50 days since the start of the war in Ukraine. Poland borders Ukraine for 535 kilometres. Since then, 2.7 million refugees have crossed the border and have been mostly welcomed on Polish soil, while others have passed through Poland to continue on to the West.

Responses to the Ukraine refugee crisis – Focolare GB and beyond
So far £4,000 from the GB Ukrainian fund has been sent to Azione per un Mondo Unito (AMU) central fund. AMU is a non-profit NGO inspired by the spirituality of the Focolare Movement. Funds have also been directed to Caritas in the Ukraine.
