[more]Celebrations are starting today, 7 December, all over the world, to mark the 100th anniversary of Chiara Lubich’s birth.
In this article written in 2008, not long after Chiara’s death, Sally McAllister recalls some of the key moments of Chiara’s visits to Britain between 1965 and 2004 and the contribution she brought to ecumenism and dialogue with people of different faiths or convictions. Her words on those occasions encourage, indicate pathways to walk along and offer sparks of hope that continue to inspire us today.

[more]The Focolare president, Maria Voce, briefly talks about her participation in the annual meeting of the General Secretaries of the Roman Catholic Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE) being held in Birmingham (United Kingdom) from 1st to 4th July. The focus of the meeting is the relationship between the institution and charismatic realities in the Church in Europe today.
