Genfest 2024, an international event promoted by the young people of the Focolare Movement, took place in Brazil in July and was attended by over 4,000 young people. Phase 1. Phases 2 and 3.

In this short excerpt, Chiara, in answering a question on the relationship with other religions, reveals the secret to building true universal fraternity: seeking what unites us in diversity.

The international interreligious conference “One Human Family”, promoted by the Focolare Movement, has just concluded with a pilgrimage of fraternity to Assisi.

This month’s bible verse is the very reason why the practice of the Word of Life has spread throughout the world: “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says” (James 1: 22).

I left my house (in a cul-de-sac) to grab a couple of things from a local shop. Outside my house, blocking one of our cars, was a small car parked up, with a care worker in uniform sitting inside. A little strange, but almost certainly early to visit a neighbour with very advanced MS.
