Although we can’t escape the fact that the war in Ukraine continues and that its impact on Ukraine and the whole world have been devastating, it was so important to come together to celebrate Christmas; finding joy in simple and little things is so vital for our self-care, sense of togetherness and emotional wellbeing.There were carols, fantastic food, presentations about Ukrainian traditions and plenty of people; children, host families, local residents, all who wanted to show much needed support and solidarity with our Ukrainian friends and neighbours.
