Last summer Sylwia Machej and Patricia Batista, from the UK, took part to a “temporary Focolare” project in Homs.

On Saturday May 4th the president and co-president of the Focolare met with the Syrian community of the Movement. The sharing of their testimonies conveyed their pain and their sense of loss and mourning, but also their wealth of culture and traditions – and their desire to live and to rebuild their homeland.

United World Project GB weekend Glasgow March 2019

At the end of March, young people from the United World Project GB met for the second time following an initial meeting in London in November 2018. This time, they headed north to sunny Glasgow (yes, it really was sunny!) to build on the project, progress with new ideas and spend time with each other.
