Genfest 2024, a worldwide Festival of fraternity promoted by the young people of the Focolare Movement, will take place in July at Aparecida, Brazil and it will showcase the “local” commitment of many Focolare communities.
The Prayers for Unity will be held online at 17:50 for 18:00 UK time on every 2nd Monday of the month. Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone else who would like to participate.

Over the last few years we have held a short service of ‘Prayers for Unity’ in the chapel at the Focolare Centre for Unity. This took place every Monday evening before the Anglican Eucharist and the Catholic Mass. Therefore the prayers were ecumenical and were a moment of unity before we split into two groups. In March 2020 the pandemic struck in GB and we went into lockdown. This meant no more prayers for unity or Eucharist/Mass. Or did it?

In December last year the large health centre next door to the church where I am the minister told us they were going to be the mass vaccination hub for our area. We had supported the pharmacy in the first lockdown so they knew we were up for helping out.
