The Focolare Movement accepts the invitation of Pope Francis at the end of the solemn Mass in St Peter’s Square for the opening of the second session of the General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops and joins the day of prayer and fasting to implore peace in the world on 7 October 2024.

The Emergency Coordination of the Focolare Movement has launched an appeal for the Middle East, to help people in those countries suffering from conflict.

Towards celebrating Easter together
The ecumenical group “Pasqua Together 2025” went to meet the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople and Pope Francis to offer their commitment so that all Christians may celebrate Easter together. Next year, the date of the Orthodox Easter and the one of the other Christian denominations will coincide and the 1,700th anniversary of the Nicaea Ecumenical Council will also be remembered.
