Silvana Veronesi narrates the eyewitness account of one who actually participated in the events of the extraordinary adventure of unity lived by Chiara Lubich together with a small group of young women, and subsequently, of young men, in the City of Trent (in northern Italy) devastated by the bombs of the Second World War. Silvana – the youngest member of the group – writes with spontaneity and in an irresistible and vivacious style. She describes her life as a high school student, illustrating episodes and recounting memories of the amazing events that were encountered day by day in those early times of the Focolare Movement.
