“Dare to be One. A call from Jesus to live the future, now” was the title of the 40th Ecumenical Conference of Bishops friends of the Focolare Movement, which recently took place in Germany.
Genfest 2024, a worldwide Festival of fraternity promoted by the young people of the Focolare Movement, will take place in July at Aparecida, Brazil and it will showcase the “local” commitment of many Focolare communities.
We’re living in extraordinary times, it’s something that’s never happened before and it obliges us to review our lives. The Coronavirus has caused a crisis in the things we felt sure about, our habits, relationships, the way we live, the economy; it has caused a worldwide pandemic with thousands of deaths. But we are also witnessing an outpouring of heroic gestures.
