“Dare to be One. A call from Jesus to live the future, now” was the title of the 40th Ecumenical Conference of Bishops friends of the Focolare Movement, which recently took place in Germany.
Genfest 2024, a worldwide Festival of fraternity promoted by the young people of the Focolare Movement, will take place in July at Aparecida, Brazil and it will showcase the “local” commitment of many Focolare communities.
The Prayers for Unity will be held online at 17:50 for 18:00 UK time on every 2nd Monday of the month. Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone else who would like to participate.

The elegant simplicity of the Swiss Church in Central London was a fitting venue for exploring a spirituality of communion; in the context of today’s world, the afternoon of 11th November expressed a common search to be credible witnesses to Christianity together. Brilliantly chaired by Conleth Burns, a young law student from Northern Ireland, the time was well used and exceptionally fruitful.

Good practices of interreligious dialogue and coexistence. From the 25th to the 30th of August an international Summer School titled “Interfaith engagement in theory and practice”, brought together 42 young Christians and Muslims in the Italian town of Tonadico (in the district of Trent). The course was the result of the joint initiative of the University Institute of Sophia (Focolari Movement), the Islamic Centre of England (with headquarters in London, an educational point of reference for the cultural dissemination of the Shiite realm in Western societies) and the Risalat Institute of Qom (Iran)

An Ecumenical Week promoted by the Focolare Movement is being held at CastelGandolfo, Rome from 9 to 13 May, 2017. Some 700 Christians from 70 Churches and Ecclesial Communities are participating.
